4. Make Santa’s Visit a fun family Activity!
Many of you most likely already leave Santa milk & cookies, but let’s make it more personal with custom-made trays! These trays indicate a spot of Santa’s milk, cookies, and even a treat for Rudolph! Most importantly, they can be customized to include your children’s names or your family name! This way Santa will know who left him the goodies, and your children will love setting up the tray!

5. Start a New Tradition!
This was originally a German tradition, but my family has been doing it since I was a kid, and my sister and I loved it!! The pickle ornament!
Before Christmas Day, buy an extra present that anyone in your family will like and hide a pickle ornament deep in your tree (not visible). On Christmas morning, whichever child finds the pickle ornament first, gets the extra present!
In my family, it wasn’t something that we discussed or were reminded of. With the excitement of Christmas morning, it often gets forgotten, until my sister or I remembered and discreetly started looking in the tree to find the pickle first before the other one noticed.
This is such a fun tradition, and I can’t wait to pass on to my children one day!
And most importantly – ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS!! 2020 is a year we will remember for the rest of our lives, and cherish the time you have with your family while head into the bright future of 2021 and beyond!
Happy Holidays!
